Antispray tapes for pipeline and flange protection, anti-leak tape, hatch cover tape, repair kit and SOLAS reflective tape. Two flagships, five specialists, one range.
Protects pipeline installations against leaks of flammable substances in standard installations.
Reinforced structure. The most durable anti-splash tape on the market, for the highest pressures.
Every rating below comes from the product's technical datasheet - follow the code for the full specification, sizes and downloads.

Anti-splashing tapes that convert a spray of pressurised flammable liquid into a harmless drip, per SOLAS Regulation II-2/4.2.2.5.3. MF03 covers standard installations up to 25 bar; the reinforced MF04 takes the same construction to 55 bar.
Maritime leak repair without hot work: MF50 self-fusing silicone tape seals leaking pipes, hoses and fittings on contact and holds from -45 to +200 °C, while the MF40 kit rebuilds a damaged pipe section to 27.5 bar working pressure within an hour.
A 2 mm self-adhesive bituminous seal that keeps water out of the cargo hold when hatch cover gaskets alone cannot, applied over the joint in 100 mm or 150 mm widths.
MF10 labels keep NDT measurement points identical between surveys; ORALITE FD1403 microprismatic tape gives life rafts, vests and lifeboats the SOLAS-required retroreflective marking.
Match the tape to the line pressure. MF03 protects standard installations up to 25 bar (363 PSI); MF04 has a reinforced structure rated to 55 bar (798 PSI). Both install the same way and both are SOLAS-compliant.
Yes. The MF03 and MF04 antispray tapes meet SOLAS Consolidated Edition 2001, Regulation II-2/4.2.2.5.3, and are type-approved by five classification societies. Certificates are available on the Certificates & Downloads page.
For an immediate seal, wrap the leak with MF50 Anti Leak Tape - self-fusing silicone that needs no adhesive and works from -45 to +200 °C. For a lasting repair of a damaged pipe, the MF40 Pipe Repair Kit restores service at up to 27.5 bar within an hour.
Every standard size of the IMPA-coded products has its own code in the IMPA Marine Stores Guide, so crews and purchasers can order the exact width through ship chandlers without ambiguity. The codes are listed in the size tables on each product page.
MF03 replaced MF01 and MF04 replaced MF02, each with a strengthened structure and higher pressure rating. The discontinued pages redirect to their successors.
